| POLYPROPILENE:
The lightest synthetic fibre, although
with poor resistance to sunlight (about 900 hours). This
problem can be corrected in part by mixing some
stabilising additive with the raw materials. It can be made
in any colour, at customer's request.
By using different manufacturing procedures, the
following materials can be obtained:
- Monofilament Polypropylene
- Multifilament Polypropylene
- Fibre Raffia Polypropylene
FEATURES:
Density: 0,91
Heat reaction: it softens at 145 ºC and melts at 165 ºC
Sensitive to: some industrial solvents.
Resistant to: aikalis and oils.
